Moisture Resistance
The film coating prevents moisture from penetrating the veneer core, protecting the panel from swelling, delamination, and warping — even with constant exposure to water or concrete.
Plywood with a durable film coating for projects where wear resistance, moisture resistance and surface stability matter. Suitable for repeated use under intensive service conditions.

For Repeated Use
Film-faced plywood is a multi-layer sheet material with a protective film coating that increases the surface's resistance to moisture, abrasion, dirt and mechanical damage.
The plywood core keeps its strength and stability thanks to the cross-bonded layer structure, while the laminated surface helps protect the sheet in tasks where standard plywood loses its working properties sooner.
The film coating prevents moisture from penetrating the veneer core, protecting the panel from swelling, delamination, and warping — even with constant exposure to water or concrete.
Withstands up to 15–20+ reuse cycles without loss of surface quality — a key benefit for formwork, where every reuse cycle reduces material costs.
The panel does not warp under load, moisture, or temperature changes, maintaining its geometry throughout its entire service life.

The cross-bonded veneer structure provides high load-bearing capacity and resistance to cracking, impact, and bending stress.
ALOM film-faced plywood is produced with proTEG 1280 phenol-impregnated paper, which forms a durable protective coating with a uniform texture and stable color. It ensures surface longevity, wear resistance, and consistent quality from batch to batch.

Black-brown opaque coating
The proTEG 1280 coating is suitable for use in both multi-daylight and single-daylight presses across a wide temperature range. This simplifies production and reduces the need for different film types.
The surface quality of film-faced plywood also depends on the veneer grade used in the face layers. A well-selected core minimizes the risk of natural wood features showing through in service.
